JSR Special School launches app on International Disability Day On 3rd December, a grand program was organized to commemorate International Day for Persons with Disabilities at JSR Special School, run by USR Indu Samiti, located in Pirumdara, Basai, Ramnagar. On this special occasion, the students of Little Scholars School presented a mobile app and website under the Open Arms Project for donation to the disabled children's school. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Mrs. Ritu Bhalla, Manager of Little Scholars School. During this, she told everyone that she would continue to support the Divyang School and asked the people present to cooperate with the school. Manjula Arora, teacher of Little Scholars, Coordinator of the Open Arms Project, said that the objective of the Open Arms Project is to promote inclusive education. Through this project, mutual cooperation, team spirit, and empathy will be developed among the children of Little Scholars School. Auli Arora, Prasha Bhalla, and Uday Grover, students of Little Scholars who created the app, told about the app that donations can be done from anywhere in the country through the app. Ration, medicines and other materials can be presented to any person or institution through the app. USR Indu Samiti Superintendent Piyush Chilwal thanked the students, teachers and management of Little Scholars School for presenting the app to the school and appreciated and congratulated the students for making the best app. He presented the progress report of the last year of the organization. Divyang children started the program with welcome song, deaf and mute children danced enchantingly in Pahari mashup, Punjabi dance, Rataan Lambiyan. Children with mental and physical disabilities enthralled the audience by reciting excellent Pahari songs. Rangoli and painting art made by the children also impressed everyone a lot. Lunch was organized on behalf of Taj Hotel, Ramnagar on a special occasion for the differently abled children. HR, Mr. Anurag of Taj Hotel said that Hotel Taj will support School in every possible way. The program ended with Ms. Kavita Bisht, Project Head USR Indu Samiti thanking all the donors.
